Project supported by: RGVN-CGRO through an associate NGO under Gariaband (Raipur) district.

About The Project:

“ALIVE” project is supported through an associate NGO in a remotely placed rural area based at village Matarvahar and Raniparteva under Chura Block of Gariaband (Raipur) district of Chhattisgarh. The project has supported 60 end beneficiaries (most of them are Tribal women) to undertake agro & allied activities namely mushroom production, leaf-plate making & achar-badi-cornflakes etc. making & selling in weekly haat and local village level market.

Objective: Enhancement of sustainable livelihood among poor women and recovery of  Returnable Grant with commitment charge.

Project Activities: 

• 1st phase of the project has been successfully completed and repeat assistance among end beneficiaries in terms of livelihood finance is being under considerations.
• Subsequent appraisal & sanction of livelihood project has been completed so far. Further disbursement to the aided beneficiaries under the livelihood project is being under progression.
• RGVN promoted women SHG, also supported through “ALIVE” project at  Boriakhurd village under Raipur district which is being running smoothly & successfully. Further assistance amounting to Rs.1.00 lakh has been sanctioned and an amount of Rs.75,000/- has already been disbursed to aided beneficiaries.
