To mitigate the problem of irrigation facility during dry spell, farm ponds are constructed near the agricultural field where farmer can use the pond both as water reservoir and for fish farming purpose. The pond can be also an initiative to integrated farming which will provide the beneficiary with multiple sources of income. Maintenance of the farm pond, prior and post fish farming is provided through training along with the embankment preparation.
