On 2nd and 3rd January 2023, Vinita Bali (CSR Committee member of CRISIL Foundation), officials from CRISIL Foundation, and RGVN recently visited Sikarhati village of Chayani Barduar block, Kamrup Rural and Khagorijan block of Nagaon District & Burbandha Block of Morigaon District under the above mentioned programme. All the officials interacted and connected with the Sakhis and also the newly inducted Sakhis from Nagaon District of the Moi Pragati Programme.
The exchange was very fruitful as the cluster members discussed about their journey as “SAKHIS” and shared their experiences and achievements under the programme. Through this programme the beneficiaries are able to access Govt. schemes and services more effortlessly.
Moi Pragati aims to empower socially and economically disadvantaged sections of society by strengthening their financial capabilities. Moi Pragati Assam was launched by CRISIL Foundation in 2015 with the initial goal of empowering 100,000 rural women in six districts (Barpeta, Darrang, Goalpara, Kamrup, Morigoan and Nalbari) with RGVN as the project implementation partner.
