On 8^th March 2022 International Women’s Day was celebrated to create awareness and support the women beneficiaries under the project (Income Enhancement from Homestead based Livelihood Resources and Agriculture of Landless, Small & Marginal farmers in Kamrup (R) district in Assam).The program started with a rally with a slogan -‘Nari Sahkti Deshor Bhobishyot’ (Women, the World’s future) to create awareness in the community towards women empowerment. The rally led by subject matter specialist and agriculturist started from the project office in Rampur towards Bijoynagar. The rally continued till 3 KM covering villages (covered between Rampur to Bijoynagar) under Rampur and concluded with an inspiring speech from the project coordinator and Deputy Director of RGVN. The celebration turned out to be successful.
