Project Name– Income Enhancement from Homestead based Livelihood Resources and Agriculture of Landless, Small & Marginal farmers in Kamrup (R) district in Assam

Pashu Sakhi is an element which is included under the section of Animal Health Awareness. Pashu Sakhi is a Community Animal care Service Provider (CASP) which enables the last mile coverage in rural areas where clinical services for livestock is not available on time or expensive to afford for rural poor. Pashu Sakhis are provided with quarterly advance technical training.

On 25th January,2022, a training was conducted for addition of 5 new Pashu Sakhis and 5 kit were distributed to all the new 5 Pashu Sakhis as a demo kit which can be also a support for beginning their entrepreneurship journey and serving their respective GPs.

On 17th March 2022, an advanced technical training on mineral mixture was given among the Pashu Sakhi of Rampur Block. The resource person for the training was Veterinary assistant officer Mr. Debeswar Das, who provided this training to 10 Pashu Sakhis.
